Telecom Bundles Actually Do Help Consumers – Larby Reveals

January 15th, 2010

Consumer Reports says that if the cost of your cell phone, TV, and Internet services is beginning to take up too big a chunk of your household budget, it may be time to shop around. Larby has just viewed the report, which released a
new survey that shows which telecommunication carriers have the highest customer satisfaction ratings. Consumer Reports just surveyed 69,000 readers about their telecommunication services. Of those who bundled, a whopping 85 percent said they would likely do it again. Larby was intrigued by two fast-growing fiber-optic services, Verizon FiOS and AT&T U-verse, which received top scores for their Internet and TV services. And both were among the better phone providers. Currently telecommunications companies are aggressively pursuing customers with offers ranging from $100 Visa gift cards to free netbook computers.

Larby thinks that consumers will greatly benefit from these bundles both economically and if there are potential problems with the service. It will be easier for an individual to call one company, compared to having to call multiple companies. Consumers get the greatest benefit from efficiency, and Larby believes that these bundles are the most efficient without having to sacrifice quality. Find this interesting? Low Job Satisfaction Surprises Larby Amirouche

January 8th, 2010

A recent national survey by the Conference Board Consumer Research Center found that only 45% of workers were satisfied with their jobs, that total is down 61% since 1987. This statistic is very surprising to Larby, especially in this economic downturn. Larby thought that people would just be happy to have a job in this economy. It seems that the old clich “ beggars can’t be choosers” doesn’t really apply here.

Larby thinks that this survey data means that people may start enjoying their jobs more when the economy begins to improve. It is disheartening to see so many people unhappy, but Larby hopes that those individuals are thankful for their jobs, because many individuals are struggling to find employment. If consumers begin to spend again there may be some light at the end of this grim tunnel.

Larby hopes that with increased consumer spending there will be more demand for goods, and thus more jobs. However, Larby doesn’t think that the job satisfaction numbers will dramatically improve anytime soon. Larby believes that the numbers will rebound, but it is hard to imagine that so many people could be satisfied with there jobs, when so many are working for cheap wages and long hours. Google Phone To Beat iPhone? Unlikely Says Larby Amirouche

January 8th, 2010

Google has just unveiled their new smart phone that is intended to compete directly with the Apple iPhone; it is called Nexus One. Larby thinks that although there is a lot of hype surround the Nexus One, it will not overtake the iPhone. The Nexus One runs an updated version of Google’s Android operating system. Built by HTC from Google’s direct specifications, it has a touch-screen and a fast processor. It includes a 5-megapixel camera for video and photos, a Global Positioning System (GPS), and stereo Bluetooth connection for headphones.

Consumers have made their choice, as evidenced by Apple’s strong sales of the iPhone despite the release of competitors such as the Palm Pre, and previous HTC phones. Larby thinks that Google is only hurting itself by releasing its own hardware, because it will take away market share from the other phones it provides the operating system to.

This is just a small blip on Apple’s radar, and really doesn’t pose a serious threat. Larby is convinced that Apple will remain number one. However, within upcoming months consumers will cast their final vote with their dollars. Read more about new technology at larbyamirouche.com

Larby Predicted the Incredible Home Business Surge

December 31st, 2009

When times get tough, the tough get going as the old saying tells us.  The economic crisis has caused a huge spike in the creation of new home businesses.  Larby predicted this would happen and he was right!

People no longer feel secure working for big companies.  They have seen far too many positions eliminated, long term employees the victims of downsizing and people’s lives destroyed in the process.   Larby Amirouche saw the unemployment rates skyrocketing and knew that people were going to start taking their financial futures into their own hands!

The new thought process involves the belief that no one is going to look out for my future, except me!  Larby said the days of spending 25 years with the same company are long gone.  Although he won’t go as far as to say we are all just numbers to the corporate world, he does state that loyalty has taken a back seat to the bottom line.  When you start seeing people that have 15 years of experience and knowledge suddenly out of job simply because of budget cuts, you know loyalty did not play a part in that decision.

People who never even thought about being self employed are starting home businesses in every town in America.  The Internet and having a computer in your home allows millions to access a customer base that previously was unheard of.  Technology is making it possible for everyone from Dad to Mom to Uncle Jim to create a website and call it a business.  The opportunities are out there and people are grabbing at them with gusto!

Larby offers a word of warning to all the wonderful entrepreneurs out there.  Realize that although being your own boss has many rewards, it comes with just as many responsibilities and pitfalls.  Home businesses do require tremendous effort, commitment, dedication and good old fashioned hard work!  Don’t kid yourself into believing that being self employed means laying about watching the television or sleeping in till noon!  You will put more hours and energy into your own business than you ever even considered putting into your old job if you want to be successful.

Larby thinks this boom in home businesses will end up helping the economy but it will do so by weeding out those that really want to work and those that do not!  There is no better way to determine if you were meant to be a 9-5er or if you can go it alone, than to start your own company.  You will certainly learn more about yourself than you probably ever wanted to know.

Larby offers advice to those starting home businesses online or off.  Research your business idea, product or service carefully!  Make sure there is a demand and then narrow down your target customer base!  Consult experts in your field so you not have to re-invent every aspect of the wheel.  Realize that get rich quick schemes are just that, schemes!  If you want success you must work for it.

Larby is excited about the future and thinks that the rise in home businesses will provide new and evolving growth to our economy.

AIG Lawyer Strikes It Rich, Larby Knew He Is In The Wrong Profession

December 31st, 2009

American International Group Inc. (one of the recipients of the large government bailout) general counsel Anastasia Kelly, who resigned after a dispute over government-imposed pay limits, will take home around $3.8 million in severance. Larby thinks it is interesting how a company can pay out such a large severance despite the fact the company can barely survive without taxpayer money.

Larby thinks that this is a growing trend, which unfortunately is costing the average taxpayer more than he or she bargained for. Company executives are receiving large bonuses and severance packages without merit, and signing the checks using the government’s money. Larby hopes that consumers will become outraged and force the government to intervene and stop the ridiculous spending.

If this financial crisis has taught Larby anything, it is that he is in the wrong profession. Clearly these CEO’s and lawyers did not have to be good at their jobs to receive extraordinary payments and salaries. Larby thinks that eventually the pendulum will swing the other way, and there will be a period of financial conservatism. Until then however, the nation will have to sit by and watch as the greedy get richer. Find out more information at larbyamirouche.com.

3-D Television Is The Future According To Larby Amirouche

December 31st, 2009

Consumers will soon be able to experience an even higher definition of television then is currently available. At the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show, 3-D television is said to be the spotlight item, headlined by Sony, Philips, and Samsung. Larby already enjoys the stunning picture of high definition television, but the proposed Sony Blue-Ray 3D will bring TV to a whole other level.

Larby has seen 3D in the movies, and thinks that when the technology is extended to consumers at home, there will be a big market for it. Larby could see how 3D might be offered both in pay per view movie format, and eventually regular television channels. Consumers may be able to experience this technology sooner rather than later, as DirecTV just recently launched a satellite that contains the technology to offer channels that can function in 3D.

Check out more at larbyamirouche.com. Larby thinks that as the technology becomes perfected it will soon become an industry standard, just as most televisions are high definition today. The Consumer Electronics Show will sure to feature many cool new technologies, but 3D TV is bound to be one of the show stoppers.

Larby Amirouche Shares the Secrets to Finding a Job

December 30th, 2009

The economic crisis has impacted people from every walk of life.  Those in executive positions to those in entry level positions have experienced downsizing first hand.  Many people are facing job hunting for the first time in decades.  Larby Amirouche not only knows how tough it is out there but is willing to share the secrets to finding a job in today’s market.

Due to the high unemployment statistics job seekers out number job openings by a large margin.  Do not let this be a deterrent for you!  Larby has seen the many mistakes people make when looking for a new job and has some secrets that will give you the edge!

The first thing you should do when seeking a new job is to utilize your friends, family and social contacts!  Far too often people fail to realize the importance of networking!  Use the internet to expand your social network!  Larby suggests contacting your friends on FaceBook, LinkedIn, MySpace and the like the moment you enter the job market!  Let people know that you are seeking a new job and would appreciate their assistance!  People like to feel needed and if they know of any openings they will jump at the chance to share the information with you! This is no time to keep your unemployment a secret!

The next step according to Larby is to really put some time and effort into your resume.  This may seem like common sense but unfortunately far too many people just whip something together and call it good because their focus is on having a job instead of getting a job!   The days of creating one generic resume are gone!  You will need to tailor your resume to the particular job opening.  This may mean that you need to create many unique resumes.  Take the time to do this!  Larby warns that a generic resume, not specifically aimed at the position for which you are applying will most likely end up in the trash!

Larby Amirouche’s next secret is a powerful one indeed!  Instead of searching only the popular job sites such as Monster and CareerBuilder, expand your search!  Job sites are great but you need to realize that for every job posted the company is receiving hundreds if not thousands of resumes. You don’t want to get lost in the crowd!  Decide what industry you are interested in and go to specific sites and blogs related to that industry.  Often times you will find less publicized openings this way and will have less competition.

You should also look at joining industry associations.  Larby verifies that industry associations often include exclusive job listings, which will give you a definite edge.  Anytime you are able to find out about an opening before the masses you have an advantage.

Finding a new job can be daunting, but following Larby’s secrets will certainly take some of the sting out of the process.  Be diligent, be determined and above all else remain positive in your outlook!

Heed the Larby Warning about MLMs

December 30th, 2009

Millions of people are turning to the internet in an effort to find ways of making money.  Typically one of the first ideas you will stumble upon will include Multi Level Marketing (MLM).  Larby warns that you should fully understand the concept before diving in with both feet!

MLM’s use the premise that by selling both a product and the idea of becoming a representative for the company, you can earn money without actually working! The plan being that you build what is called a downline (people that you have brought into the company) and then make money off of their sales and recruiting.  Thus leaving you free to sit back and rake in the big money.

Although many MLM businesses appear tantalizing and lucrative, that can be attributed more to the presentation than to the actual business model.  We have all seen the fabulous websites that show photos of brand new luxury vehicles, mansions that we could only fantasize about, and supposed bank statements that show incredible amounts of money arriving daily.  These websites are truly enticing and the sales copy could sell snow to an Eskimo!  This is part of the problem according to Larby.

These sites are specifically designed to speak to the human need for instant gratification and desire for wealth.  That is their purpose, goal and objective.  Larby warns that succumbing to these tactics can end up costing more than you can afford to lose.  You can find out more from Larby at http://larbyamirouche.com/ as he does have a lot more to say!

There have been MLM programs that work, but they usually require you to be one of the first to become involved in order to see any type of real income. Even at that, the product had better be pretty spectacular and the management above reproach, which according to Larby is often not the case!  Typically you work extremely hard and see very little reward, if any!

Larby Amirouche has seen far too many examples of people buying into the hype and seriously impacting their friendships and family relations.  They are encouraged to sell the product and the company model to their warm list (which includes friends and family first).  Larby says that many a friendship has been strained and even destroyed due to MLMs.  Be conscious of this potential danger prior to pushing your hot new idea too hard on those you care about!

While you are searching for great new ways to make money the use of common sense is paramount! Realize that get rich quick schemes are just that, schemes!  As Larby’s mother once told him, if it comes that easily there will be a catch!  Moreover if it appears too good to be true, you can rest assured it is!  There are no guarantees, no promises that are actually legitimate when it comes to the MLM world.

While there may be the potential to make some money using MLM type businesses, it will require a lot of effort and time!  Even then the idea that you must count on others doing a great job at selling in order to see any money at all is at the very least risky.  When we find ourselves counting on someone else to do the work, we also find that someone else is getting paid.

Larby Secrets to Invest and Make Money during a Tough Economy

December 29th, 2009

We are all very aware of the economic crisis and the incredible toll it has taken on our local communities.  Larby Amirouche has an excellent plan for investing in this tough economy, helping your community and actually making money in the process.

One of the unfortunate side effects of the ever increasing unemployment statistics is the inability to pay property taxes.  Home owners and businesses are finding it difficult to scrape together the money to pay their local County the property taxes owed.  As a result many local communities are not able to afford the services they typically provide.  This causes a direct hardship on everyone and can be avoided!

County governments struggle to meet their budget requirements when people fall behind on their property taxes. In an effort to obtain the funds they desperately need, they sell Certificates of Lien. Larby says this is one of those wonderful opportunities that allow one to make money while actually giving back to their community!

A Certificate of Lien simply means the investor purchases the original tax debt from the county thereby helping the community. As a result, when the property owner pays the taxes due, the investor recoups his initial investment plus penalties and interest which add up quickly!

As a general rule of thumb, a person is much more likely to make the effort to pay things such as property taxes before any other debt.  This is not a debt that will go away or that will simply enter collections.  It is much more serious than the typical annoying phone calls from creditors. They realize that they run the risk of losing the property/business/home if they fail to pay within a prescribed time frame. This knowledge is very strong motivation for the average property owner!

As an investment, Larby reminds us that we are assisting the local County government in meeting its budgetary needs thereby allowing the community to receive services it has come to expect. This will naturally stimulate the local economy and become a win-win for all involved. To learn even more ways to help your local economy visit http://larbyamirouche.com

In the event that the tax payer fails to pay the property taxes owed, the investor then has the ability to foreclose and literally take possession of the property.  At which point the investor may choose to sell it or hold onto it until property values increase. Larby notes that actually foreclosing on property due to delinquent property taxes happens far less often than one would think.  Far more frequently the investor will collect the debt including interest and penalties.  However in either case it is a good solid way to invest during a tough economy according to Larby.

If you are seeking a way to invest and see a nice return while helping to stimulate the economy, Larby says this is the secret!  You simply need to contact the local government of the county in which you are interested in investing.  You can purchase Certificates of Lien relatively quickly and easily as Counties are eager to sell them and meet their budgetary requirements.

Larby Amirouche Sees An Increase In Consumer Spending

December 29th, 2009

Recent data from November showed that consumer spending has been increasing. Larby realizes that this is good news for a strong economic recovery. As people begin getting jobs, more people will start spending, hopefully boosting the economy. Larby hopes that the consumers will continue to spend, and that companies will continue providing good deals in an effort to bring in more people.

Larby Amirouche is still cautious, because although consumer spending rose in November, housing sales hit a seven-month low. This mixed news shows Larby that the road to economic recovery will be bumpy and unstable. Once there is positive growth in all economic indicators, then Larby will feel reassured that the economy is properly recovering.

At larbyamirouche.com you can read more about these topics. Larby understands that people in government, including President Obama, are working hard to fix the economy, but ultimately it will come down to the power of the consumer. Larby knows that if consumers dont spend their money then there is no chance to get a healthy economy. This recent report is good news, and Larby is optimistic that conditions will improve, but it will still be a while before Larby is truly convinced that things are turning around.
